Best Pickleball Paddle Deals: Sales, Discounts & Promo Codes (Updated)
Last Updated: October 2026
Quick Answer: The best time to buy a pickleball paddle on sale is Black Friday weekend in late November, with holiday sales in December second best. A good discount on a current premium paddle is roughly 10–20% off; deeper cuts usually mean older models. Nothing is on a genuine deep discount right now, as of October 2026.
If you’re hunting for real pickleball paddle deals, this is the page I keep updated. I’ve bought and tested 80+ paddles with my own money, so I know what’s worth buying at a discount and what’s just a marked-down mistake. I update this page when genuine sales go live: Black Friday, holiday sales, clearance runs, and brand promos.
No expired coupons. No “50% off” banners on paddles that were never worth full price. Just what’s worth buying right now.
How Do I Know a Pickleball Paddle Discount Is Real?
Most “deal” pages are either a list of affiliate codes or sale prices copied from a retailer. That doesn’t tell you whether the deal is real. A deal is only a deal if you know the paddle’s everyday price, because brands and retailers inflate “original” prices to make discounts look bigger. Before anything lands here, I check three things:
- The normal street price. What the paddle sells for on a regular day, not the inflated list price in the ad.
- Whether I’ve tested it. If I’ve tested the paddle, I link the review. If I haven’t, I say so, and I don’t recommend gear I know nothing about.
- Whether the discount is genuine. My rule of thumb: 10–20% off a current premium paddle is a good deal. 30–40% off usually means last year’s model or a clearance run, which can be great value. Anything screaming “70% off” is almost always a discontinued paddle or a factory second.
Are There Any Pickleball Paddle Deals Right Now?
As of October 2026, nothing is on a deep discount. Outside the big sale windows, most paddles sit at their normal price. When a genuine deal goes live, I’ll list it here first. In the meantime, current Amazon pricing for every paddle below is one click away.
What Are the Best Paddle Deals Under $100?
This is the sweet spot for most players. Several of my highest-rated value paddles already sit in this band at their normal price, so a genuine discount on top is the best value in the sport. These are the budget paddles I’ve tested and still recommend.

Do Premium Pickleball Paddles Ever Go on Sale?
Rarely. Most top brands hold their pricing year-round, and when they do discount, it’s usually on current models by a modest amount. That’s still real money on a premium paddle, and it’s about as deep as those discounts get. As of October 2026, no premium paddle is on a genuine sale. When one goes live, I’ll list it here with the verified price.

Where Do Pickleball Paddle Sales Happen?
Brand websites
The big sales happen here. Most brands run their deepest discounts during Black Friday week and around the holidays. Some also clear out stock when new lineups drop. Sign up for the newsletters of the brands you want, since subscribers often get early access.
Retailers (Dick’s, specialty pickleball shops)
Large sporting-goods retailers clear out older models to make room for new stock. That’s where the deep cuts on last year’s premium paddles come from. Check the clearance section of specialty pickleball retailers, not just the big-box stores.
Black Friday and holiday sales
Black Friday weekend (November 27 this year) is the best time of year to buy a pickleball paddle at a discount. Early Black Friday deals often start a week or two before. Cyber Monday tends to be leftovers, so if you see the paddle you want over the weekend, buy it then. Holiday sales through December are the second-best window.
Bundles
Paddle bundles (paddle plus balls, or paddle plus overgrips and a bag) only save money if you were going to buy the extras anyway. Do the math before you assume the bundle is a deal.
Used paddles
Buying used is a legitimate way to save, but inspect carefully. Paddle faces wear out, and a dead core or delaminated face isn’t a deal at any price. I’d only buy from a seller I can return to, and I wouldn’t buy a used paddle I haven’t already tested new, so I know what it’s supposed to feel like.
What Should I Check Before Buying a Discounted Paddle?
- Know the price before the sale starts. Screenshot the regular price now. When the sale hits, you’ll know in seconds if the discount is real.
- Pick the paddle first, the deal second. A cheap paddle that doesn’t fit your game is wasted money. Use my paddle rankings and read how I test pickleball paddles to find your fit.
- Check tournament approval. Clearance paddles are sometimes older models that were delisted. If you play sanctioned tournaments, verify before buying.
- Check the return policy. Clearance and deep-discount items can have shorter return windows or restocking fees.
- Stack codes when you can. Some brands let you apply a coupon code on top of a sale price. If I list a code here, try it. Worst case, it doesn’t apply.
Pickleball Paddle Deals FAQ
When is the best time to buy a pickleball paddle on sale?
Black Friday weekend in late November is the best window: the deepest discounts on current models plus the biggest clearance cuts on older ones. Holiday sales through December are second best. Outside that, watch for brand sales when new lineups launch.
Are cheap pickleball paddles any good?
Some are. There’s a big difference between a budget paddle and a bad paddle. Several paddles on my best-value list perform well at their normal price, which beats a mediocre paddle marked down from an inflated one. Start with my under $100 rankings.
Where can I find pickleball paddle coupon codes that work?
Most coupon aggregator sites list expired or made-up codes. The reliable routes are the brand’s own newsletter, retailer email lists, and reviewer deal pages that get updated, like this one. I won’t list a code I haven’t seen work.
Do pickleball paddles go on sale for Black Friday?
Yes. Black Friday is the main event where premium brands discount current models, not just clearance stock. Bundles and older models usually get the deepest cuts.
Is it better to buy a premium paddle on sale or a budget paddle?
It depends on the discount. A last-year premium paddle at 30–40% off often beats a budget paddle at full price. But a budget paddle I’ve tested and rated highly is a better buy than a premium paddle you don’t need. Fit your game first.
What’s a good discount on a pickleball paddle?
For current premium models, 10–20% off is a good deal. On older models, bundles, or clearance, 25–40% off is more common. If something advertises 50%+ off a current paddle, check the “original” price, because it’s usually inflated.
